Tacoma neighborhoods we serve
We take requests from anywhere inside Tacoma city limits. Here's what tree work usually involves in different parts of the city. (A Tacoma mailing address doesn't always mean you're inside the city, and permit rules follow city limits, so check your parcel if you're near a border.)
Tree service in the North End
Proctor, Old Town and the streets out toward Point Defiance. This is old Tacoma, with mature street trees, big conifers in tight backyards, and steep slopes down to Ruston Way and Commencement Bay. Gulches like Puget Gulch are wooded and usually regulated as steep slopes, so expect careful sectional work and permit questions.

From the Narrows and Titlow area to the Fircrest and University Place lines. You'll find mid-century homes with now-mature firs, plus madrones and maples on the bluff-top lots above the Narrows that catch wind first.
Request a quote in the West End →Tree service in Central & Hilltop
Dense older blocks around Hilltop and Central Tacoma, with alleys, overhead lines and narrow lots. Most jobs here are pruning, clearance, and removing street-side trees that are lifting sidewalks. Right-of-way permits come up often.
Request a quote in Central & Hilltop →Tree service in South Tacoma
Neighborhoods along South Tacoma Way and around Oak Tree Park, where native Oregon white oaks still grow among the homes. Oaks reward light, careful pruning. Ask before you remove one.
Request a quote in South Tacoma →Tree service in the South End
Fern Hill, the area around Wapato Park and Wapato Lake, and the residential grid farther south. A mix of big conifers, older fruit and shade trees, and lakeside lots where critical-area rules may apply.
Request a quote in the South End →Tree service in the Eastside
McKinley Hill, Salishan and the neighborhoods around Swan Creek Park. Wooded ravines and greenbelts sit right behind many homes. Trees at the edge of a ravine can be both a hazard and a regulated slope.
Request a quote in the Eastside →Tree service in Northeast Tacoma
The plateau and hillside above the tideflats toward Browns Point and Dash Point. Larger lots, lots of tall firs, view-pruning requests, and slopes along Marine View Drive that make permit checks and careful rigging the norm.
Request a quote in Northeast Tacoma →Tree service in Downtown / New Tacoma
Downtown, the Stadium District edges and the Dome District, with mixed-use and multifamily properties and street trees in tree grates or planting strips. Work here often needs right-of-way permits and traffic control.
Request a quote in Downtown / New Tacoma →Near Tacoma but not inside the city?
If you're in University Place, Fircrest, Ruston, Fife, Lakewood, Federal Way or unincorporated Pierce County nearby (Browns Point, Parkland, Midland), send your request anyway. If the tree service can't cover your address, we'll tell you so you're not left waiting. Each of those jurisdictions has its own tree rules, so the Tacoma permit note above applies only inside Tacoma city limits.
